CHAIRPERSON, ADVISER ON PRIVATISATION / CHAIRMAN PRIVATISATION COMMISSION

Mr. Muhammad Ali is the Adviser on Privatisation to the Prime Minister of Pakistan and serves as Chairman of the Privatisation Commission. He is a seasoned business leader and public policy professional with extensive experience in corporate management, investment, finance, and economic reform. In his current role, he is leading the Government of Pakistan’s privatisation and public-sector reform agenda, aimed at enhancing efficiency, attracting strategic investment, and fostering sustainable economic growth.

Mr. Ali oversees key strategic transactions across diverse sectors and actively engages with domestic and international investors to promote Pakistan as an attractive investment destination. Under his leadership, the Privatisation Commission is advancing a transparent, competitive, and investor-friendly privatisation programme that supports economic transformation and long-term value creation for the country.
